Read thousands of books online
In case you’re not aware of this already, I just want to bring to your attention Google Books (http://books.google.com/) which allows you to read many books online.
Go to http://books.google.com/ and do a search on any subject you’re interested in. You’ll get hundreds or thousands of results. Many of the books are available for preview. You can refine the search to return only books that have FULL TEXT, which means you can read them in their entirety, cover to cover, online.
I’m a perennial student. I like to learn. Here in Cambodia there aren’t many libraries and research facilities, so I must rely on the web even more for information and educational resources. People here often liken themselves to “frogs in a pond,” closed to the outside world. That’s not true at all; even though most cannot travel freely, the outside world is only a few clicks of the mouse button away. Internet access is available throughout the country. As long as people have some English proficiency, they have access to at least 90% of human knowledge that is freely available online. And most of us probably do not have the mental capacity to digest even 0.1% of that knowledge.

my friend-yes, i agree with your idea that internet access is easily to get into the big world, of course you are but through photo, reading, and hearing. If you get all these there only 70% you learn from them. There’s 30% you do not get it. It is sightseeing. It is very important when you see it. You can describ more than from what you have read, heard, and listened. And don’t think they will post the good resource books for you to read through internet, my friend? They need to sell their book that they have been working for lot of time before they can have it published. If you get it i think it is out-off date one. Technology get its up-todate everytime. So may be it is not true. You may find out more by yourself.

Hello,
The books cannot be downloaded from google. You can try scribd.com . They’re like the Youtube of books and printed documents.
